David Hockney
Born on July 9, 1937, in Bradford, UK.
He enrolled in the Royal College of Art in London and distinguished himself from that time.
He is globally recognized as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, with a diverse range of works including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and stage design. His series of paintings depicting swimming pools in California and his photocollages called "joiners," which combine multiple photographs, are particularly famous.
Starting with early figurative paintings, he uses vibrant colors and a unique perspective to depict landscapes, portraits, and still lifes.
Since the 1970s, he has actively engaged in photography and stage design, and in recent years, he has also created digital drawings using an iPad, constantly pursuing new forms of expression.
