"HAPPENING" is an art book by art director and designer Asuka Wakida.
It features Wakida's own diary entries alongside illustrations of the people appearing in them, presented one day per spread.
Originating from her graduation project at Tokyo University of the Arts, this edition includes newly added records from 2018.

Asuka Wakida (Wakida Asuka) 1993-

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1993.
Graphic designer and art director.
After graduating from the graduate school of design at Tokyo University of the Arts, she became independent after working at Kozfish.
She strives to live a rich life by engaging with various cultures through design.
She also produces and presents her own art books and scarves as personal works.
